Dear all,
Our dear and beloved Anne Cassidy is drifting into transition destined for the end of this incarnation and into the next adventure.
I visited Anne last Friday and she asked if I would share this note from her to everyone and disseminate as widely as possible. Steve Klein
This is from Anne, in her own words:
Hi Everyone,
It's been almost 2 years since my fall and subsequent move to St.
Peter's Hospital and then to Evergreen
Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. I wanted to send a message to reach people who have so kindly helped me in so many ways, and in may cases anonymously. I have been gifted with beautiful home cooked meals and other delicious food, flowers, money and other gifts, visits, practical help, care and alot of love and focus, without which I would have ended up in the hospital much sooner than I did. It was great to be able to stay at home for those few months.
Since the 16 months I have been in the hospital and Evergreen, I have never been without flowers or plants in my room.
The nurses come by regularly to check out the latest deliveries. It has made a tremendous difference to me to have such loving support at this challenging time. I have been called remarkable and abnormal to be doing so well for so long in this battle with the cancer.
Medically I had been holding my own, so much healing has been given from all of you and everything you have done.
It is raining as I write and the gentle Spring rain reminds me of the love I have in my heart for so many of you, you know who you are and you will never be forgotten.
Thank you is such a hollow word to endeavor to express the gratitude I feel for everything that has been done for me.
We have such a beautiful loving and supportive community here of truly remarkable people. May all that you do be returned to you a million fold and from my heart to yours may you all experience the deepest love there is as true reflection of the God that you are.
In closing, I would like to thank you all for your support in my challenging time.
I do so appreciate you wanting to visit with me,
please keep in mind that I do get tired easily so if you come to see me I ask that you keep your visits short
or even better just send a simple card letting me know that you are thinking of me would be nice.
With all of my love,
Sincerely, Ann Cassidy
